Ryan and his helpers organized the Kupuna Needs Project to help people get necessary foods, toiletries, and cleaning supplies during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The service helps elderly individuals, 62 years or older, and immunocompromised individuals. Volunteers deliver items directly to our Kupuna’s (“Kupuna” is Hawaiian for “Grandparent” or “Elder”) homes as well as make bulk deliveries to community centers.
The signing beneficiary for the project was the Roman Catholic Church in Hawaii, but in reality, the entire island of Oahu was the Beneficiary.
