Christopher and his helpers designed and built a double-wide kiosk for their local county park, providing a map of the trails and other visitor information. As a member of the Salinas High School Cross Country team, which practices and races at the park, Christopher also helped design and install a course map sign detailing the history of the course, which dates back to the 1950s. They added mile markers for the 3-mile and 4-mile courses to help runners navigate the trails.
