Kougar and his team made 5 flag retirement boxes and placed them in locations in North Central Montana.
Flags were collected over a four-month period. On Memorial Day 2017, a flag retirement ceremony was held and approximately 125 flags were retired. This will now be an annual event on Memorial Day.
