For his Eagle Scout project, Jericho wanted to give back to the athletic program at St. Mary Immaculate Parish School in Plainfield, Ill. With the help of volunteers, he raised funds, designed, and installed four new record boards to highlight outstanding performances across various sports:
- Cross Country: Top Ten Times for boys and girls
- Track and Field: School Records for boys and girls
- All-State Athletes who medaled in sports including cross country, track and field, golf, and baseball
- State Bound Board: Recognizing teams or individuals that qualify for state events, featuring interchangeable magnets for cross country, track and field, baseball, golf, and science fair
The school can now easily update these boards with adhesive stickers whenever a new record is set — ensuring that future achievements will be recognized for years to come.
In addition to installing the record boards, Jericho and his helpers took on a thorough cleaning of the school gym: washing bleachers, lockers, wall mats, and the areas underneath the bleachers.
