Liliane’s project focused on enhancing the biodiversity of Randalls Island’s freshwater wetlands, creating vital habitats for local insects and wildlife. With the support of 26 volunteers, she built six tree swallow nesting boxes, repaired two bee hotels, and planted 120 native trees and shrubs.
