Kaleb and his helpers built a 15-by-40-foot permanent shade canopy over the staging lanes at a local BMX track, providing racers with protection from the sun while waiting for their turn. The project took two years, more than 900 volunteer hours, and $10,000 in donated funds to plan, design and complete.
