Outdoor Classroom for Temple

Ben and his helpers transformed an unused wooded area at his temple into a functional and inviting space. They cleared the land and constructed six benches arranged in a semi-circle, along with a dedicated teacher’s bench facing the group.

To support the educators, they also built and installed a free library, ensuring that school supplies remain dry and accessible.

Adding a creative touch, they crafted a walkway using stepping stones painted by students, bordered the space with repurposed tree limbs, and layered the ground with mulch for a polished finish.

Now, this revitalized area serves multiple purposes—it functions as an outdoor classroom for the temple’s Sunday school, a mini sanctuary for small services, and a peaceful retreat for both children and adults to unwind.
