Nathaniel and his helpers designed and built six wheelchair-accessible gardening tables at the local community garden to allow those with mobility challenges to experience the pleasure of gardening. The tables were approximately 4×6 feet with about six inches of soil depth. The clearance beneath the table was approximately 3 feet, to allow access for someone in a wheelchair to actively participate in gardening. The table legs were detachable to allow for winter storage.
