Logan and his helpers organized a STEM Discovery Day for middle school students in Silver Spring, Maryland. Participants took part in hands-on competitions and workshops where they launched rockets, flew drones and drove remote-controlled cars while working alongside members of the Next Generation Leadership Academy, a youth chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers. Logan coordinated the event budget to provide a free pizza lunch for all volunteers and participants, a continental breakfast for volunteers, competition prizes and commemorative event T-shirts.
